Gareth Brookes
Gareth Brookes studied printmaking at the Royal College of Art. His graphic novels include The Dancing Plague (Self Made Hero), A Thousand Coloured Castles and The Black Project (Myriad Editions) which was nominated in the Sélection Officielle at the 2018 Festival de la Bande Dessinée in Angoulême. His work has appeared in ArtReview and Kuš and was included in the Comics Unmasked exhibition at the British Library in 2014.
ELEANOR DAVIS
Eleanor Davis is a cartoonist and illustrator. Her books include How To Be Happy (Fantographics)., Why Art? (Fantographics), You and a Bike and a Road (Koyama Press). She will be talking about her work and latest graphic novel, The Hard Tomorrow,(Drawn and Quarterly). She is presently living in Tucson, Arizona, U.S.A.
JOEL CHRISTIAN GILL
Joel Christian Gill is a cartoonist, historian, and Associate Professor of Illustration at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, USA. He wrote the words and drew the pictures in the series Strange Fruit and Tales of The Talented Tenth (Chicago Review Press). His latest work is a memoir chronicling how children deal with abuse and trauma: Fights: One Boy’s Triumph Over Violence (Oni Press.)
