Denise Dorrance (Illustrator/Cartoonist) discusses her first graphic novel, Polar Vortex, (The Observer Best Graphic Novels of 2024) a poignant and humorous memoir about dementia, elderly care and returning home. Published by New River, UK and The Experiment, North America.

Jesse Lee Kercheval (Writer/ poet/ cartoonist) talks about her graphic memoir French Girl (Fieldmouse Press, 2024) and learning to use art after a lifetime of working only with words to tell her stories.

Onion Press is a collaboration between comic artists Sarah Lippett and Maria Stoian

Sarah and Maria will discuss their Creative Scotland funded collaborative comic, Kathleen, the real life story of one woman and her 100 animals who lived on the isolated island of Inchkeith for 5 years.
