María Herreros
Presenting her new comic book “Georgia O’Keeffe” published by Self Made Hero, Maria is an illustrator, muralist and comic book creator. Involved in artistic and social projects all over the world, her work focuses on gender equality and social justice.
Clarrie and Blanche Pope
Clarrie and her sister Blanche will present their graphic novel ‘Welcome Home’ and Clarrie will also talk briefly about her new project ‘Love’s Labour’ . Published by Minor Compositions, Welcome Home features a group of squatters who occupy an empty flat in a condemned tower in London. It is about lost struggles, unrequited love and irritating activists, and deals with urban regeneration, care homes and dementia. But despite its gloomy topics, it is written with humour and driven by hope.
